Location: On the R436 between Ferbane and Ballycumber. This is right opposite the old school house and is incorporated into the junction.
OS: N 17113 26998
Longitude: -7.7440706
Latitude: 53.293238
Description and History: This is a nice bullaun stone, although it is likely ex-situ. It is limestone and nearly a meter in length and half a metre wide, with one cup-shaped depression in the middle. Ideally this should be moved to the adjacent graveyard where there is less chance of a car damaging it.
Difficulty: Easy to find but be careful as it is part of the junction in the road.
Date of Visit: 1st May, 2026.
