Description and History: Little remains of this church apart from the E gable end with one window. Only small portions remain of the W wall and the original doorway. This church dates to somewhere between 800-1100AD, but I would argue a 10th or early 11th century date is more likely due to similarities in style with other churches from this period. The scant remains mean that dating the church with any more accuracy is hard. However, it can be said that it is definitely pre-Norman in date. This would have been a nice little church and it is a shame that there is so little left.
Difficulty: Easy to find and get around.
Date of Visit: 24th April, 2010.
