Description and History – This is a very large cist tomb measuring nearly 2.5m in length and over 1m wide. It is about 75cm deep. The capstone is now missing and the area around it has been hollowed out. It is aligned towards Maeve’s Cairn on Knocknarea. It can be hard to spot as it is hidden away but well worth looking at.

Difficulty – Hard to spot and with any monument at Carrowkeel mind your step.
