Ardcrony Church and Tower, Co. Tipperary.

There was an ecclesiastical site here for many centuries before the tower was built although the present remains of both are not separated by too much time.  I have given each site their own page as they both warrant this.  However, you should bare in mind that both sites were in the care of the same family and the tower would probably not exist if it was not for the existence of the church at this site.  In fact, both buildings are physically connected by a wall.
